We live in the Parkside neighborhood of San Francisco. Parkside and the Sunset together are often referred to as The Avenues (numbered streets are Avenues where as east in the City the numbered streets are Streets – capice? 
)
We have lived in our 2 bedroom flat since Valentine’s Day 2004. We have a garden all to ourselves, easy parking, and no sunshine at all for 8 months of the year (Spring and Summer – fantastic – grrr). I dream of escaping our neighborhood but we have roots there now and our little house is home.
Our next home will be a departure from this one, for sure. I’m busy socking away money for a down payment on my Old (new) Kentucky Home. Seriously. I ride horses… what can I say?

I’ve been looking at and falling in love with “tiny living” lately and found your blog through one of my searches. I would like to ask you if I could do a short interview, perhaps 5 or so questions and a picture or two of your choice, for some “Tiny Lifer” profiles I’m planning for my blog.

Each profile is intended to give people who are living in conventionally sized homes (1500+ square feet) a look into what it’s like to downsize, whether for ecological or financial reasons, or simply a desire to simplify their lives.
