I’m not as think as you stoned I am

June 5, 2008

Wait, huh?

(Ok, you HAVE to know I’m kidding!  I’m sitting at my desk in an investment bank in the SF FiDi.  As if!)

Where the HOLY HELL have I been??  Apparently my home county of Mendocino voted in 2000 to allow not only medical, but recreational, cultivation of up to twenty five plants per resident.  The state legal medical-only cultivation limit is six plants per person.  Do you know what the yield is from 25 plants?  (If you do…. hehehehe)  It’s more than one person could smoke in one ten years!

Yesterday 51% of voters voted to appeal that law.  I guess it’s one thing to be thought of as the Stoner Capital – but to make it official with laws encouraging that moniker is a whole ‘nother rolling paper.  Or not – that’s a pretty puny margin.

Someone must have been sipping the bong water to think it was a good idea to say “come grow here!” without saying “bend over while we tax you til it hurts”.

So don’t blame me for my brain fades – look at what I was exposed to my whole childhood!
