I am *so* easy to please

July 17, 2008

Just looking at this makes me feel all happy and giddy inside…

A towel bar.  Yes, a chrome and lucite towel bar.

Well, I am kind of proud of the spanking job I did of installing it (perfectly level, secured to withstand unruly children and drunken attempts to grab on to anything that will keep the toilet from spinning ).  Oh, and because it was the only one of it’s ilk in a clearance bin at Home Depot.

Now that I think about it, this hits a trifecta:  shiny, sparkly and on clearance!

Yeah… I’m not one of those “complex” people.

  1. Job well done!!! Looks so….SHINY and nicely installed as well.

  2. Will you hang a towel on it for me next week ? What are your bathroom colors ?

  3. Nah… you can drip dry like I do 😉

Of course, Silly! But I’ll need until the week after next to get to my laundry. Oh, Haley won’t be back til then either! HA!

The colors are dove-ish gray, gunmetal gray, blinding white, and accented with turquoise. And SHINY THINGS! Nothing would work if not for the shiny things!

  4. On clearance, AND you installed it yourself! I’m impressed!!

And I love your cat- he/she matches your color scheme! Now THAT’S an eye for detail! 🙂

Also, there is nothing more fun than before

  5. Oops!!

…before & afters. They are addicting!

    NOW I’m done :p
