Not our typical monday night

September 9, 2008

Yesterday at work I was given four great seats to the Giants v. Diamondbacks game.  Steve had offered to take Haley already so I could go to Drinking Liberally but when I got these tickets in my hand I thought, “What the hell!  It’ll be fun!”

Steve’s never one to turn down a ballgame and he did take Haley to her first game when she was little – like 2 years old little – so within minutes he was on board.  (Probably quicker to accept since he hasn’t had the pleasure of awakening the princess and getting her out the door to school when she’s been up late 😛 )

Of course Suzanne was my next call IM.  She had valiant plans of a quiet evening at home after a good workout at the gym.  As if!  Not on my watch!  HA!

So, any way, we had a great time.  My pores will be seeping garlic for the next week (damn fries!)  I avoided being totally lame-o by making it to at least one game this season.  I got to ignore the disaster that is my bedroom project for another night.  And I’ll be gosh-darned if the Giants didn’t win.  😀 Diamondbacks got schooled!  (Your boys suck, Dathan!)

  1. That was fun last night. Thanks.

Jesus, do I ever look blazed in that 3rd pic with Haley pointing to her hat. Mid-blink, I guess.

Thank god Haley didn’t inherit my non-photogenetics.

  2. Actually, I included both pics of you and Haley because one of you is clearly better in one or the other. Unfortunately, not the same one 😛

Thanks for the beers and grub!

  3. Did someone say ” Haley’s first baseball game ? ”

    Picture ?

  4. And although these were taken by Steve , they live safely in my abyss of pictures !

It looks like you all had a fun time ! 🙂

  5. ACK! Cute overload!! Those have to go on the front page!

Peta, yet again you slay me with your “I can SOOO hear your voice in my head saying the words that I am reading!”
